Dry Eye Clinic

Probably one of the most common conditions experience is dry eyes. It may sound like a minor problem but many problems that we have with our eyes may be caused by unidentified dry eye syndrome. Symptoms of dry eyes may include the following:

• Tired, strained eyes
• Dull, aching eyes
• Watery eyes
• Light sensitivity
• Burning while reading or using the computer

Our dry eye clinic is designed to specifically address the condition. We begin by thoroughly assessing your tear production quantity and quality. In addition, we review your history for any medical conditions or medication which may be contributing to the condition. Based on these test results the doctor will prescribe treatment. It can vary from eye drops and nutritional supplements to medication and additional procedures. Most dry eye conditions can be managed successfully if treated correctly.
